Unplug
Day 22 - Letter U
Today brings us the letter U, and with it comes a practice that feels almost radical in a world addicted to constant contact and instant gratification.
Unplug. To step away from digital and social noise long enough to return to your own frequency.
We introverts do not merely get tired from people.
We get tired from access.
From the relentless ping of notifications, messages, updates and the subtle expectation that we should always be reachable.
Unplugging is not avoidance. It is discernment.
It is a reclamation of focused attention.
It is the moment you stop letting everyone else’s urgency trample over your inner landscape.
Unplugging is not about collapse. It is about reconnecting with self.
It is choosing to silence the external buzz so you can actually hear yourself think.
It is recognising that your mind is not a public thoroughfare and your emotional space is not community property.
This is sovereignty in action.
Not rest.
Not recovery.
Reorientation towards your inner voice.
So take a moment today and ask yourself:
Where has digital noise been making decisions for you?
What becomes possible when your attention returns to you?
How would your day feel if you deliberately broke the cycle of instant availability?
Unplugging is choosing to connect inward before you connect outward
Before you head off, turn your mind toward tomorrow. We arrive at the letter V.
Any guesses what our V word might be, especially one that validates your inner truth?
Quietly, and selectively yours,

The Original Flourishing Introvert
